Senior Professor at CUSAT and Expert in Engineering and Management with a B.Tech with University First Rank from GEC(Trichur), M.Tech and Ph.D. Degrees from IIT, Kharagpur in Industrial Engineering and Management with experience in Academics, Industry and Consulting. Also a Fellow of the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering and Chairman of the Kerala Chapter of IIIE. An acknowledged good teacher, researcher, and administrator with over 32 years of teaching and research experience. Has been the Dean and Member of the Cochin University and Kannur University syndicates. Was the Managing Director of CONSUMERED, Kerala during this period many new projects were implemented, and turnover increased by three times. Former Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, and Member of syndicate of CUSAT and Kannur Universities. Also served as a member of the School Board and Planning committee of Indian Maritime University, Chennai and Member of the Governing Board of Centre for Management Development, Trivandrum. A consultant and trainer for many Public and Private sector Organizations, such as BPCL-Kochi Refinery, KSFE, Cochin Port Trust, NABARD, Kudumbasree and some others.
