MBA (Full-Time): 2 Years

The MBA (Full-Time) programme is a rigorous two-year programme designed to develop analytical, managerial, and leadership capabilities. It offers a firm grounding in core management disciplines with opportunities for specialization and industry engagement. The programme emphasizes experiential learning, internships, and career-oriented skill development.

MBA (Executive): 2 Years

The Executive MBA programme is designed for experienced professionals with 2+ years of work experience. It focuses on strategic thinking, leadership, and advanced managerial decision-making. The programme uses a practice-oriented approach, drawing on participants’ professional knowledge and real-world business contexts. The programme is offered in a hybrid mode, with a judicious mix of online and on-campus sessions during holidays.

Integrated Dual Master’s Programme in Management: 2 Years

The International Dual Masters Programme in Management (IDMPM), is an innovative academic initiative programme conceived to nurture globally competent management professionals. This programme enables students to earn two postgraduate degrees in two years: an MBA from CUSAT and a Master’s Degree from a reputed partnering foreign university.  The students spend the first year in CUSAT and second year in the partner university and gain global perspectives, cross-cultural competence, and advanced management skills. Currently, we have partnered with James Cook University, Australia for the IDMPM.

MBA (Evening-Regular): 3 Years

The MBA (Evening-Regular) programme is structured for professionals seeking to upgrade managerial competencies without interrupting employment. Classes are held in the evening with the same academic rigor as the full-time programme. The curriculum integrates theory with workplace application and progressive career development.

Eligibility

• A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by CUSAT norms (relaxation applicable as per Government/University rules).
• A valid score in CAT / CMAT / KMAT accepted for all MBA programmes.
• For the MBA (Executive), candidates without a valid test score must appear for the Departmental Admission Test conducted by the School of Management Studies (SMS), CUSAT.
• Relevant work experience is mandatory for admission to the MBA (Executive), as specified in the prospectus.

Test Score

Applicants must have a valid score in any one of the following Management Aptitude Tests:

• CMAT, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), after November 2025
• CAT, conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), November 2025 only
• KMAT (Kerala), conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Government of Kerala, after November 2025
• Departmental Admission Test (Only for MBA (Executive))
