Nestled in a 180-acre sprawling campus of magnificent architecture with historic iconic buildings, lush gardens, multi-storied libraries, and umpteen facilities, the School of management studies (CUSAT), the best place to learn business and management in Kerala, stands proudly with its head high. As the oldest B-School in Kerala, the legacy of SMS is intricately woven into the fabric of Kochi city.

The vast campus has enclaves, lawns, green gardens, and shady trees where creative ideas are born through critical thinking, jam sessions, board games, and brainstorming. There are locations for anything from easy Gupshup to intensive discussions, as well as for play rehearsals, dancing performances, and holidays.

The Campus has its modern and multi-cuisine cafes and restaurants open on all working days, including Sundays. The Cafe comes to one's aid when the urge for something delicious takes over by providing excellent food at reasonable pricing. It offers a wide range of cuisines, like South Indian and North Indian meals. The Café doesn't let you down regarding the quantity and value of the food and beverages. The Daily Specials are another thing to look forward to. The Café has established a reputation as a culinary paradise for students because of its excellent cuisine and friendly personnel.

The campus has health services, on-call ambulance services, qualified doctors, registered nurses, and medical facilities available on the site. Students' physical and emotional health is given the utmost priority on campus. Counselors are a resource that students can use for emotional assistance and mental health guidance.

Every school has an adequate number of wellness specialists. Sporting events are held on campus in the physical education department. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor sports facilities, as well as sizable playgrounds for basketball, football, badminton, tennis, and cricket. The site has a variety of other amenities, including a bank, post office, MyByk, ATM, hostels, dining, sports, the Miyawaki Campus, park, and healthcare facilities housed in multiplex complexes.

At the campus, a Miyawaki forest has been created on 10 cents (400 square meters) of land by the Kerala Development and Innovation Strategic Council (K-DISC). 1600 saplings of various natural species have been planted at the location. With trees, benches, and walkways for employees and students, the campus has an outdoor recreation area.

The hostels are kept in good condition, with high-speed Wi-Fi and a TV. The hostels are located within the university premises and are under security surveillance. The appearance of the hostel rooms, mess, and restrooms reflect the priority placed on cleanliness and hygiene. The hostel also has a large mess area, activity room, sick room, and prayer room. There are approximately 13 spacious dorms, 6 for girls and 7 for boys, of which the capacity is 1133 beds for girls and 1038 for boys.
