The International Dual Masters Programme in Management (IDMPM), offered by the School of Management Studies (SMS), Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), is an innovative academic initiative launched in the academic year 2025–26. Conceived to nurture globally competent management professionals, this programme enables students to earn two postgraduate degrees—an MBA from CUSAT and a Master’s Degree from a reputed foreign university.
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
The IDMPM brings together the academic excellence of CUSAT and the global perspectives of leading international universities. Students benefit from a unique blend of regional insight and international exposure, gaining a truly global learning experience.
Structured over two academic years (four semesters), the programme allows students to complete the first year at CUSAT and the second year at a partner university abroad.
The curriculum, jointly designed and delivered by both institutions, emphasizes cross-cultural learning, innovation, and applied management skills. This collaborative programme ensures academic coherence and professional enrichment, enabling students to graduate with degrees from both institutions
The programme is designed to create future-ready leaders equipped with advanced analytical abilities, strategic decision-making skills, and a strong grounding in leadership and digital competencies—essential to navigate the dynamic world of Industry 5.0. Current Collaborations
CUSAT has commenced the IDMPM in collaboration with James Cook University (JCU), Australia, a globally recognized institution renowned for its excellence in research on coral reefs, climate change, and biodiversity. Discussions are in advanced stages with reputed universities in the USA, Canada, and the UK to further expand the international partnerships of this programme.

Admission to the IDMPM requires candidates to meet the eligibility criteria prescribed by both CUSAT and the respective foreign partner university. The eligibility for admission to this programme aligns with that of the MBA (Full-Time) offered by the School of Management Studies.
