Brief Profile

Dr. Devi Soumyaja is an Assistant Professor at School of Management Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology. She holds a master’s degree in Human Resources Development and bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She has been a university rank holder at both graduate and post graduate level. She has completed PhD in Management from Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Madras with UGC junior research fellowship. She is the recipient of a 2020 Kairali Award worth Rs. 25 Lakhs from the Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC). She has also been a recipient of the prestigious Fulbright-Nehru professional and academic excellence award in 2021-22 and was affiliated with California State University for six months. She has several ABDC/Scopus indexed journal publications to her credit. She is also a reviewer for several international journals like International journal of cross-cultural management, International journal of conflict management, Organization Management journal etc. She has also completed research projects granted by inter-university centre for IPR studies, CUSAT, ICSSR, RUSA, National Women’s Commission of India and Kerala Women’s commission. She has been a visiting research fellow at University of Angers, France. She is also an advisory member to Women’s Studies Centre, CUSAT and is an empanelled trainer for the gender sensitization program for Police personnel-Bodhyam conducted by Kerala State Women and Child Development Corporation. She is the first faculty from CUSAT to offer an online course in the SWAYAM platform.
