Brief Profile

An avid academician with over 22 years of academic, administrative, training, research, and corporate experience, her administrative roles in B-schools have included serving as Head of the MBA Department, Placement Officer, Journal Editorial Board Member, Admissions Coordinator, and Chief Coordinator of NAAC Accreditation.

She brings rich teaching and mentoring experience from premier institutions such as the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), where she guided postgraduate students in the Department of Fashion Management Studies and the prestigious Christ University, Bengaluru, where she taught and mentored both undergraduate and postgraduate students across the School of Business and Management as well as the Department of Liberal Arts.

Her external professional engagements include serving as a Subject Matter Expert on corporate interview panels and as a trainer and resource person for faculty, executive, and management development programmes conducted by various government departments and private institutions.

She has completed three funded projects, including one ICSSR project as the PI at CUSAT and two Government of Kerala projects at NIFT, where she served as the Co-PI. Her research interests vividly span Consumer Behaviour, Sustainable Fashion, and Workplace Menstrual Hygiene. She has published over 40 research papers and presented her work at numerous national and international conferences on topics ranging from complaining behaviour, counterfeit fashion, service quality, healthcare, and related areas.

An ardent believer in the power of brand storytelling, she creates deeply engaging classroom experiences across the Executive and regular MBA programmes, while mentoring research scholars to explore innovative and socially significant areas in management. She is also known as an astute administrator, particularly adept at organizing seminars, workshops, and moderating academic conferences with professional finesse.

With an enduring passion for fitness and healthy cuisine, she is a high-spirited and vibrant personality, embodying enthusiasm and positivity in every sphere of her professional and personal life.
