Dr. SANGEETHA K PRATHAP
Dr. Sangeetha K. Prathap works as Assistant Professor in the area of Entrepreneurship and Banking & Finance. She also teaches Business Environment. She is a PhD from CUSAT and holds MBA in Finance and a MSc in Co-operation & Banking specialising in Rural Banking and Finance Management. She has worked as Assistant Professor with Kerala Agricultural University for 3 years and Institute of Co-operative Management (A unit of NCCT, New Delhi) for 2 years and as Research Fellow with Central Government Institutions (CMFRI, CIFT, Kochi) for 5 years before joining CUSAT in 2016. She has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. She holds UGC NET in subjects of Rural Development and Management.
She is a Member of Senate at CUSAT and coordinates CSR & Development Initiatives of CUSAT. Further she works in capacities of Convenor of Green Campus Initiatives Cell of CUSAT and coordinates Entrepreneurship Cell of CUSAT. She has worked in the capacity of core committee member of IQAC, CUSAT and is presently serving as the steering committee member for NAAC accreditation of CUSAT. She is also an advisor to Women Studies Centre, CUSAT. She has made significant contributions being a member of Expert Committee for preparation of 14th Five Year Plan in the subject area of Agriculture Supply Chains constituted by the Kerala State Planning Board.
