Celebrations @ SMS

The 1st Batch of Executive MBA at SMS hosted a Thanksgiving Dinner on 14th December for the faculty. The gathering witnessed a logo unveiling, vibrant cultural performances, quirky games, and a sumptuous dinner. The celebration of gratitude and unity presented a night to remember!

The School greeted the new faces of 2024 batch a number of exciting events and activities. The occasion promoted conversation between juniors and seniors by means of team-based competitions, performances, and ice-breaking exercises. The organisers ensured that incoming students felt at home in the positive and welcoming environment.

A feast for the senses,  പകൽപ്പൂരം"24 was a day of out-and out entertainment and colour, complete with vibrant pookalam designs, cultural programs and exciting competitions including tug of war. A grand Onam Sadhya was the heart of the celebration.

The outgoing MBA batch of 2024 was treated to a vibrant ethnic-themed extravaganza featuring dance, music, and games. The highlight was the personalised photo keychains given as parting gifts to the seniors. The lively event, enhanced by a DJ performance, left many with tear-welled eyes as a memorable journey at SMS concluded.

The cricket league tournament at SMS was a spectacular success, featuring competitive matches and exceptional talent. The Sportika Turf Kochi battle ground buzzed with enthusiasm bringing together 42 players cutting across batches. Team Tuskers XI clinched the championship trophy, making the event a true celebration of our college’s sportsmanship and unity.

The evening batch of SMS hosted this year’s spooky Halloween party as nicknamed ‘Carnevil’. Replete with fun-filled games, scintillating cultural programs, competitions for best costume and best Pumpkin decorations followed by a sumptuous dinner, the organisers ensured that the event presented a host of good memories for everyone.

Freshers Day is a precursor towards building a bond of togetherness for the years to come.The new MBA batch was welcomed at an enthralling event filled with cultural shows and games where students could show case their talents.

At SMS CUSAT, Onam is more than just a festival; it’s a celebration of onness. “Aravam 2023” kicked off with a formal function followed by a vibrant Chendamelam, exciting competitions, a sumptuous Sadhya feast, Onam-themed games, and a thrilling Tug of War competition. Aravam 2023 was a day of tradition, competition, and unity, leaving lasting memories for all.

The school celebrated the 30^th year work anniversary of Dr.D.Mavoothu , Professor, SMS in a very cordial and informal way by cutting a cake and sharing warm memories with the entire student and faculty members in attendance.
